JOINERY DETAILER MICROVELLUM CAD OPERATOR

We are seeking an experienced Joinery Detailer Microvellum CAD Operator to assist with production of custom joinery items. This role is a permanent role, offering excellent career development.

 The ideal applicant should have at least 2 years experience.

The position

Duties Include:

  • Producing drawings from architectural plans
  • Problem solving any design issues
  • Preparing drawings for machining on CNC
  • Reading and interpreting plans for production
  • Reading and understanding architectural drawings
  • Producing cabinetry drawings and cutting lists for production

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in cabinet making industry with a background in joinery construction methods
  • Solid experience in Microvellum or AutoCAD
  • High level of attention to detail with a proactive with a “can-do” attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills, and ability to prioritise work load
  • A high level of attention to detail is essential
  • The ability to work well both in a team environment and independently
  • High level problem solving and troubleshooting skills

CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

A position is now available at our modern factory and showroom in Hume, ACT for an experienced CNC Machinist. The person we're seeking must have a solid background with all aspects of furniture and joinery CNC machine operation.

The Position:

  • CNC milling of components as required
  • Machine cleaning & maintenance
  • Basic programming of the CNC
  • Maintaining stock levels

The ideal person will:

  • Be honest and have a desire to excel and contribute positively to the team
  • Enjoy a challenge and be prepared to work as a team to achieve goals.
  • Good computer knowledge
  • Have CNC Machinist Experience / Relevant Experience and solid joinery knowledge
  • Have the ability to read plans and fabricate from them using initiative
  • Be hardworking and willing to take responsibility for their work
  • Show attention to detail and enjoy producing high-quality work

Key skills and experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the manufacturing business
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Forklift Licence (preferable)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Rights to work in Australia (essential)

Normal Hours: 7:30am-4.00pm Mon-Fri

Remuneration: Remuneration will be based on the successful candidate's ability and experience
